Eight more doors worth opening

Each card is buildable from data we already compute nightly (warehouse orphans and Rent, spot writers, criteria-scoped discount coverage, pacing from BookedUtc). Verdicts: Mock next (deserves a full flavor), Card it (shape is clear, write the card), Park (real, but after the quarter).

1 · Owner approval link

PM hits "Enroll 41" and owners who must approve discounting get one link: their listing, protected peaks on a calendar, expected guest-quality pitch, Approve / Decline. Approvals land back as checkboxes ticked.

330 accounts hold 10+ cohort listings; owner consent is the known silent stall in every PM discount conversation.

2 · Peak calendar (market events overlay)

The blackout picker shows why a night is peak: Jul 4 week, bowl game, fall foliage crest, local festival. Hosts protect what they recognize; event labels turn a rate chart into a story they trust.

73% peak overlap in synchronized markets (Smokies) means shared event calendars are honest there; per-property elsewhere.

3 · Stranded-nights inbox

Not a page: a Monday message (email + in-app) listing only new orphans and blocks entering their last 45 days, each with dollars and a deep link to the fix pre-opened in Ribbon+.

38% of block releases happen inside the final week, after most demand has passed. Timing is the whole product.

4 · Beat your Q4 2025

A per-host season challenge on the cockpit: your line vs your own last-year curve, with the three cheapest ways to close the gap (gap pricing, monthly tier, one block release). Opt-in, private, no leaderboard shame.

82.7% of cohort listings have a Q4 2025 baseline to beat; December books 77% after Oct 15, so the game stays live all quarter.

5 · Blackout sets library (PM bulk manager)

Reusable metro date sets ("PCB peaks 2027") that many discounts reference instead of copying. Edit once, every linked discount re-pushes. Coverage % per listing shown before applying.

41 → 4 discounts to maintain for the mock portfolio when sets are shared by metro instead of copied per listing.

6 · Who controls tonight? (pricing-tool harmony)

Per-night provenance strip: PriceLabs wrote the rate and min-stay, your gap adjuster applies on top, seasonal rule underneath. One place answers "why is Oct 20 $206 with a 3-night min?"

91.7% of API spot rows carry tool-written MinNights, and spot wins precedence. Invisible stacking is the support ticket of next quarter.

7 · December surge mode

A seasonal cockpit preset for Nov 15–Dec 31: last-minute curve steepens automatically within host floors, orphan sweep goes weekly, block-confirm prompts at 45/21/7 days. One switch, expires Jan 1.

7 days median lead for bookings made after Oct 15 last year. December is a last-minute market wearing a holiday costume.

8 · Direct-booking shield

A guardrail, not a discount: warn (or optionally auto-trim channel adjusters) whenever a channel's guest total undercuts the host's own direct price for the test stay. Direct stays cheapest by construction.

17% direct share in the mock portfolio mix; the direct crowd is our most vocal segment and the parity story must protect them first.

9 · Reactivation watch

Any discount switched off gets a 30-day "what changed" watch: if the reason was peak exposure (no blackouts then), the host gets one resurrection offer with peaks pre-protected, then silence.

166 accounts / 1,594 listings sit deactivated today from the pre-blackout era alone.

Bizdev read across the board: every concept either removes a signature (owner approval), borrows trust (events, PriceLabs harmony), or arrives uninvited at the right moment (inbox, surge mode). None requires a new data pipeline; all ride the warehouse nightly. Start with the three Mock-next cards if the flip-on suite lands. Back to flavors
